Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of a market‑leading automotive technology solution across the East of England. The role is fully remote, with occasional visits to customer sites and a monthly meeting at the head office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing automotive retailers.
• Identify and win new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular account reviews to maximise customer engagement and performance.
• Deliver on‑site training and support to ensure successful onboarding of new customers.
• Communicate the company’s value proposition and product benefits clearly.
• Generate leads and support activation of new customer accounts.
• Promote the Pay Later solution, highlighting its performance‑enhancing features and commercial benefits.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the automotive industry, preferably in aftersales or service.
• Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within the automotive sector.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Confident presenter with experience delivering customer training.
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently across a field‑based territory.
