Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new partnership growth for Kings Court Trust, a specialist bereavement support organisation. Based in Bristol, you will work closely with estate‑planning, financial and legal professionals to expand our service network and generate revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and secure partnerships across estate planning, IFA, will writers, legal and financial sectors.
• Manage and nurture existing partner relationships through regular meetings, strategic collaboration and performance tracking.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions and meetings to promote services and generate leads.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and high partner satisfaction.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective account management, lead generation and pipeline monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field‑based B2B sales and account/partner management.
• Strong communication skills, empathetic and confident when presenting to professional audiences.
• Self‑motivated, solution‑focused and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team.
• Passion for supporting families through bereavement and making a positive impact.

Required skills

• HubSpot (CRM and sales pipeline management).
