Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to join a leading international manufacturing company. Based in Westbury, Wiltshire, you will work within a dynamic commercial team to grow new and existing business across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across existing and new markets.
• Manage and develop relationships with key customer accounts.
• Promote a range of innovative, sustainable solutions to well‑known UK brands.
• Create and implement sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
• Conduct meetings with customers via telephone, video and face‑to‑face.
• Negotiate with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior decision‑makers.
• Provide excellent customer support throughout the sales process and beyond.

Required profile

• At least two years’ experience in business development, account management or field sales within a B2B environment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Confidence to build relationships with customers at all levels.
• Proactive, self‑motivated approach with excellent organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
