Business Development Manager

About the role

Logistics UK is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth of its Vision cloud‑based platform. You will work with transport and logistics companies, helping them improve compliance, fleet management and operational efficiency through innovative SaaS solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities across the logistics sector.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, moving prospects from initial contact to signed contracts.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on the Vision platform, delivering compelling demonstrations and value propositions.
• Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to ensure seamless hand‑over from sale to implementation.
• Engage stakeholders at all levels, from transport managers to board directors, to showcase how the solution drives compliance and growth.
• Negotiate terms and close deals that meet revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consultative B2B sales, preferably within technology or logistics.
• Strong ability to build lasting customer relationships and understand client needs.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and comfortable working autonomously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
