Business Development Manager

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing national service provider, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new‑business acquisition across the UK. You will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract award, and work with a diverse portfolio of services including security, facilities management, cleaning, fire safety and specialist support.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new commercial opportunities across a national territory.
• Develop relationships with commercial organisations, property firms, construction, logistics, healthcare, education and public‑sector bodies.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process, including prospecting, proposal preparation, tendering and negotiation.
• Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth mobilisation of new contracts.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently exceed revenue targets.

Required profile

• Proven track record of winning new business in service‑based solutions.
• Experience selling to senior decision‑makers in sectors such as security, facilities management or cleaning.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
• Full UK driving licence.
