Business Development Manager – London

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join a fast‑growing London‑based organisation. The role focuses on generating new revenue by hunting fresh opportunities, managing the full sales cycle and building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals and inbound leads.
• Manage the end‑to‑end sales process from initial contact, needs assessment, proposal, negotiation to closing.
• Maintain a robust, qualified pipeline and keep CRM data accurate and up to date.
• Articulate the company’s value proposition to diverse audiences and build strong relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Represent the business at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
• Report pipeline activity, revenue forecasts and new‑business performance to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development or sales roles with measurable new‑business results.
• Experience managing a full B2B sales cycle and closing senior‑level deals.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to quickly understand client needs.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and resilient.
