Business Development Manager – Motor Insurance Brokers

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our client’s motor insurance broker network. Reporting to senior leadership, you will use your existing relationships to introduce our services, onboard new partners and ensure smooth delivery alongside internal claims and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, manage and convert relationships with motor insurance brokers.
• Leverage your network to generate immediate opportunities and revenue.
• Identify and onboard new broker partners for credit hire and repair services.
• Act as a trusted advisor, communicating the full value of the offering.
• Drive consistent new business activity and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with internal claims and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
• Stay up‑to‑date with market trends, competitor activity and opportunities in the motor claims space.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated business development professional with strong relationships in the motor insurance broker market.
• Proven track record of generating revenue and meeting targets.
• Established network of motor insurance brokers that can be actively engaged.
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify and convert opportunities quickly.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

• £40,000 base salary with uncapped OTE (target £60,000).
