Business Development Manager – Property Auctions

About the role

We are a dynamic property auction business looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business across the Essex property market. This client‑facing role focuses on building relationships, generating new clients and property instructions, and delivering commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities from vendors, estate agents, developers, investors and other property professionals.
• Develop long‑term relationships with clients, providing expert guidance throughout the auction sales process.
• Conduct external meetings, networking events and property visits across London.
• Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate instructions and maximise listing opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor sales activity and produce performance reports against agreed KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver marketing strategies and achieve growth objectives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in business development and property sales.
• Strong understanding of the auction sector (preferred).
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and promote the benefits of a modern online auction platform.
• Experience working with local authorities, property companies, vendors, estate agents, developers and investors.
• Excellent relationship‑management and commercial‑strategy skills.
