Business Development Manager – Restructuring & Insolvency

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join a market‑leading restructuring and insolvency practice. Working within a global marketing and business development team, you will help shape client strategy, uncover growth opportunities and raise the firm’s market profile.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities across the restructuring and insolvency sector.
• Develop compelling pitches, proposals and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and clients to influence strategy and win work.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality materials.
• Support the global team with market research and competitive analysis.

Required profile

• University degree with strong knowledge of the restructuring, insolvency, legal or financial services market.
• Proven business development experience in a professional services environment.
• Excellent commercial awareness, judgement and the ability to work independently.
• Strong project‑management and organisational skills, able to handle pressure and competing priorities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
