Business Development Manager – SaaS Healthcare Solutions

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead new‑logo acquisition for a global technology group operating in the UK healthcare market. The role focuses on selling SaaS solutions to NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Boards and private healthcare providers, with full ownership of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify high‑value opportunities across the NHS and private healthcare sectors.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline, conducting consultative meetings with senior decision‑makers.
• Develop tailored commercial proposals and negotiate complex SaaS contracts.
• Collaborate with pre‑sales, marketing and delivery teams to ensure solution fit and successful implementation.
• Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the business.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SaaS sales, preferably within healthcare or related technology markets.
• Demonstrated ability to win new business and manage long sales cycles with senior stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of NHS structures, Integrated Care Boards and private healthcare organisations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary up to £65,000 per year.
• Uncapped commission with on‑target earnings of £110,000+.
• Hybrid working model (3 days in‑office, 2 days remote).
