Business Development Manager – SIPP (UK Wide)

About the role

This senior Business Development position focuses on expanding the SIPP (Self‑Invested Personal Pension) offering across the UK intermediary market. You will work autonomously, building new adviser relationships and deepening existing partnerships to drive long‑term pension business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new financial adviser relationships that can generate sustainable SIPP revenue.
• Strengthen and grow current introducer partnerships within adviser firms.
• Engage with advisers, paraplanners, research teams and support staff to create strong networks.
• Spot high‑value opportunities using commercial judgement and market insight.
• Support the development of commercial‑property SIPPs and other proposition enhancements.
• Manage non‑advised pension enquiries in line with regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven business development experience within the SIPP and financial adviser market.
• Established network of financial advisers and intermediaries across the UK.
• Ability to thrive in a self‑driven, relationship‑focused sales environment with limited lead‑generation support.
• Strong understanding of pensions regulation and adviser market dynamics.
• Relevant pensions or financial planning qualifications are desirable.
