Business Development Manager – UK

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new revenue across the UK for a specialist manufacturer of modular cold storage solutions. You will work nationally, targeting the pharmaceutical, chemical and logistics sectors, and be responsible for building long‑term commercial relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new business opportunities within the specified sectors.
• Manage a portfolio of prospective customers using the company’s CRM system.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet ambitious sales targets.
• Present and promote modular cold storage solutions to prospects, including site visits and product demonstrations.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and delivered.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development or field sales, with a focus on generating new business.
• Experience selling into pharmaceutical, chemical or logistics industries.
• Established network of industry contacts and ability to secure commercial opportunities.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
