Business Development Manager – Water Hygiene Services

About the role

The company provides water hygiene, compliance and risk management services to both private and public sector clients. They are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand their client base and strengthen market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities within the water hygiene and compliance sector.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and ongoing account development.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business.
• Maintain a personal diary and sales pipeline to meet targets.

Required profile

• Proven B2B field sales and business development experience.
• Confidence selling consultative, compliance‑based or service contracts.
• Strong relationship‑building and influencing abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and commercially aware.
• Full UK driver’s licence (desirable but not essential).
• Experience in water hygiene, facilities management or environmental compliance is a plus.
