Business Development & Marketing Executive (5‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This is a 5‑month fixed‑term opportunity with a leading London corporate law firm. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will support bids, pitches and client development initiatives across multiple practice areas, using data and insight to drive activity.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver bid and pitch documents, ensuring high‑quality submissions on time.
• Draft, edit and format persuasive proposal content in collaboration with partners.
• Produce referral and pipeline reports for internal stakeholders.
• Assist partners with follow‑up on opportunities identified through CRM reporting.
• Support client relationship management programmes, including Key Account Management.
• Provide administrative and research support for partner‑led client development plans.
• Track opportunities and help progress prospects through the sales pipeline.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in bids, proposals or business development, preferably within a law firm.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, including fast‑turnaround submissions.
• Willingness to develop expertise in business development and proposal writing.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical content into client‑focused messaging.
