Business Development & Marketing Executive – Legal Sector

About the role

This position supports the growth strategy of a boutique law firm in London. Working closely with Partners and the Business Services team, you will help raise the firm’s market profile and nurture client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage legal directory submissions (e.g., Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500).
• Gather matter highlights, feedback and referee information from Partners and Fee Earners.
• Maintain and enrich client data in the CRM, identifying new business opportunities.
• Conduct market research and assist with targeted business‑development campaigns.
• Organise client events, meetings and networking initiatives.
• Create and update pitch documents, proposals and other BD materials.
• Support cross‑practice business development and manage BD content on internal platforms.
• Assist with the rollout and optimisation of CRM systems.
• Contribute to broader marketing communications and profile‑raising activities.

Required profile

• Experience in business development or marketing within professional services (desirable).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality output.
• Organisational and project‑management capability.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities independently while collaborating with senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Familiarity with AI tools.
