Business Development Representative – IT Services

About the role

This position offers a focused, self‑motivated sales professional the chance to drive new‑business acquisition for a global leader in business innovation and change. Based in Reading, you will work in an office environment, generating and qualifying leads for the company’s IT managed‑services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate global leads through cold calling and targeted outreach campaigns.
• Qualify prospects and pass high‑quality opportunities to the closing team.
• Maintain accurate activity records and pipeline data in Salesforce.
• Engage with senior decision‑makers including VPs, Directors and C‑suite executives.
• Support sales negotiations and contribute to achieving quarterly quotas.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Representative within an IT Managed Services or MSP environment.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong telephone etiquette and ability to conduct cold calls confidently.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Resident within commuting distance of Reading, able to work on‑site five days a week.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
