Business Development Representative – SaaS (Remote/Farnborough)

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to join our fast‑growing SaaS company. Based in Farnborough with mostly remote working, you will help turn inbound and outbound leads into qualified sales opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Engage inbound and outbound marketing leads via phone, email, social and digital channels.
- Qualify prospects against criteria such as industry fit, needs, budget, timeline and decision‑makers.
- Nurture early‑stage opportunities and progress them to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
- Maintain accurate records in Hubspot CRM.
- Collaborate with Marketing to provide feedback on campaigns and with Sales Executives for smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Support outbound initiatives, targeted campaigns and account‑based marketing activities.
- Assist in refining lead qualification processes and messaging.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, partner events and conferences, qualifying leads on‑site and ensuring post‑event follow‑up.
- Report on pipeline activity, conversion rates and market insights to the Sales & Marketing Director.
Required profile
- Proven experience in lead qualification and nurturing within a B2B environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across Marketing and Sales teams.
