Business Development Representative – UK

About the role

Dandy is building its first UK Business Development Representative team to generate leads and fill the top of the sales funnel as it launches its go‑to‑market function. This role will support both inbound and outbound sales motions, engaging dental practices that show interest while proactively prospecting new opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for a wide range of dental practice prospects.
• Generate new business through outbound channels such as email, phone, and creative outreach tactics.
• Track sales activity using Salesforce and continuously improve processes.
• Pitch Dandy’s value proposition, handle objections, and move prospects through the funnel.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives for seamless client handoffs.
• Contribute ideas to shape the UK BDR function, influencing processes, tools, and strategy.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional sales experience in a high‑growth environment.
• Demonstrated experience with cold calling, preferably targeting SMBs.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and willingness to learn new sales concepts.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and ramp up quickly.
• Experience with standard sales tools and a proactive attitude toward adopting new technologies.
• Strong overall track record of professional and academic success.
