Business & Digital Support Placement – 12.5 months

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement gives you the chance to work within Airbus' tooling and metrology environment, supporting wing jig recertification, wing metrology measurements and critical aircraft machining tasks while developing digital and business skills.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate on tooling and metrology projects, including wing jig recertification and wing metrology measurements.
• Manage and deliver projects across safety, quality, cost, delivery, people, continuous improvement and strategy.
• Develop Data Studio dashboards to visualise critical business KPIs.
• Learn and use SAP systems to support operational efficiency and data management.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying Computer Science, Business, Project Management, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to embrace Airbus ways of working and obtain required security clearance.

Required skills

• Data Studio for KPI dashboard creation.
• SAP for operational data integration.

What we offer

• Salary: £24,246 per annum.
• 35‑hour week with flexible and hybrid working options.
