Business Processing Team Leader

About the role

The Business Processing Team Leader will head the national Business Processing Team, a specialist back‑office function within Central Business Operations. You will be accountable for accurate, on‑time processing of new business cases across 22,500 client households, ensuring compliance, fee accuracy and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Business Processing Team, setting performance expectations against the six‑step processing standard.
• Conduct regular one‑to‑ones, performance reviews and development conversations.
• Monitor daily throughput, quality and SLA compliance, managing absence, capacity and workload allocation.
• Oversee onboarding and training of new team members on relevant platforms and processes.
• Own and maintain the six‑step processing standard (Check, Fees, Submit, Monitor, Update, Close) and ensure consistent application.
• Perform weekly audits of completed cases to verify quality, accuracy and data‑cleanse compliance.
• Ensure step‑6 record closure and IO data cleanse are completed on the day of settlement.
• Act as the primary link between Business Processing and Central Business Operations leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading and developing a back‑office or processing team.
• Strong understanding of wealth‑management processing standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to monitor and improve team performance against SLA targets.
• Experience conducting audits and ensuring data integrity.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with senior operational leaders.
