Business Sales Representative

About the role

We are a market‑leading consultancy looking for energetic Business Sales Representatives to join our Glasgow team. You will sell HR, employment law and health & safety solutions to small and mid‑market businesses, helping owners focus on growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the mid‑market sector (30+ employees).
• Conduct multi‑channel outreach (phone, email, targeted mail) to directors and owners.
• Generate leads, set appointments and obtain referrals while managing existing client relationships.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and meet quarterly targets.
• Present consultancy services and people‑management software using a consultative selling approach.

Required profile

• Proven track record in outbound lead generation or telesales, preferably with a consultative style.
• Target‑driven mindset and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Resilience and confidence to handle rejection and stay focused on the next opportunity.
• Strong professional communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders.
• Motivation to learn HR, employment law and health & safety solutions (training provided).

Required skills

• Experience with telephone and email outreach tools.
• Basic CRM or sales pipeline management experience.
