About the role

Key responsibilities

• Prepare draft statutory financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for manager review.
• Prepare draft business tax computations and produce VAT returns.
• Carry out bookkeeping assignments and produce management accounts.
• Assist with filing statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
• Liaise with managers to resolve client queries and ensure efficient completion of assignments.
• Build strong relationships with clients and maintain a high standard of service.

Required profile

• AAT, ACA, ACCA or ICAS qualification, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice within a business services or accounts role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proactive approach with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
• Confidence working in a fast‑paced environment.
