About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit in Redbridge, East London, from September 2026. You will deliver GCSE Business Studies lessons to students who need extra support to engage with education and reach their potential.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Business Studies lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse social, emotional and behavioural needs of students.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages confidence and personal development.
- Monitor student progress and contribute to intervention and support plans.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Business Studies at GCSE level.
- Ability to teach at least one additional subject, determined by experience and specialism.
- Strong classroom management and relationship‑building skills.
- Commitment to supporting students in an alternative provision setting.
