Business Studies Teacher (Key Stages 4 & 5)

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established secondary school in Hertfordshire to recruit an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher who can also deliver Economics. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 4 and 5, inspiring students to develop commercial awareness and analytical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies to GCSE and A‑Level students.
• Deliver Economics lessons at GCSE and/or A‑Level.
• Plan, prepare and assess high‑quality lessons that drive student progress.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to departmental development and wider school life.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies, with the ability to teach Economics.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for engaging delivery.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all learners.
