Business Studies Teacher – Secondary School (Folkestone)

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join secondary schools in Folkestone from September 2026. You will deliver engaging lessons across key stages, inspire students, and support their academic progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic Business Studies lessons across the Key Stages.
• Inspire and motivate students using proven teaching strategies.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress.
• Contribute to the development and success of the Business Studies curriculum and department.
• Occasionally teach Computer Science lessons when required.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies in a secondary school setting.
• Willingness to teach occasional Computer Science lessons.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain), overseas police checks if applicable, and professional references.
• CV covering the last 10 years of employment.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
