Business Support Manager (Temporary, 9 months)

About the role

This temporary Business Support Manager position supports a growing organisation during a key period of development and change. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will help drive day‑to‑day operations, governance and strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and operational support.
• Assist senior stakeholders with governance, reporting and decision‑making.
• Manage budgets, financial planning and business reporting.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and processes.
• Support recruitment and line‑management activities.
• Coordinate with external partners and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
• Build positive relationships with customers, stakeholders and community groups.
• Contribute to organisational development and future planning.

Required profile

• Experience in business, operational or project management.
• Strong organisational and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Proven experience leading teams and improving processes.
