Business Systems Analyst – Hybrid (Aylesbury)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Systems Analyst to support and enhance the core systems that underpin our housing and operational services. Working closely with the IT Business Systems Manager, you will help ensure our platforms operate effectively while contributing to ongoing improvements and future system transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing housing and scheduling systems, including version upgrades.
• Review system data and performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support implementation and transition of replacement systems to meet business requirements.
• Act as the primary contact for system‑related queries, investigating and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and third‑party suppliers to deliver system improvements.

Required profile

• Experience in a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Administrator or Applications Support role.
• Strong understanding of how business systems support operational services.
• Proven ability to manage system upgrades, enhancements and process improvements.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to identify issues and trends.
• Organised, adaptable and capable of managing competing priorities in a complex environment.
