Business Systems Software Engineer/Architect

About the role

Business Systems Software Engineer/Architect will own the design, development and maintenance of solutions across Salesforce, NetSuite and their integrations, supporting roughly 400 internal users. The role is focused on shifting the Business Systems team toward software‑engineering practices, influencing architecture, DevOps and long‑term strategy. You will start by building a skill‑based quoting agent and then engineer a subscription and entitlement engine for the Pulse commercial framework.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop and deliver production‑grade code using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SuiteScript and middleware, while enforcing security and architectural standards.
• Design and maintain automation pipelines and resilient API integrations between Salesforce, NetSuite and core enterprise systems.
• Synthesize stakeholder feedback into iterative enhancements and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Implement and own complex subscription and entitlement logic, handling proration, true‑forward calculations and co‑term renewals.

Required profile

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience, including work with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or NetSuite.
• Strong computer‑science fundamentals in system design, data modeling and security design patterns.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive alignment and deliver scalable solutions from high‑level concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
