About the role

We are looking for a Business Tax Manager to join a medium‑size professional services firm in the Crawley area. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring tax compliance and providing strategic tax advice across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
• Provide expert advice on complex business tax matters to clients across various sectors.
• Review tax computations and returns prepared by junior team members.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver strategic solutions.
• Support clients during HMRC enquiries and investigations.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated client services.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their technical skills.
• Stay updated on tax legislation and ensure compliance across all client engagements.

Required profile

• CTA qualified.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK business tax regulations.
• Proven ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients efficiently.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to tax planning.
• Experience in mentoring or supervising junior staff members.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
