Business Travel Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Travel Team Leader to join an independent corporate travel management company in the UK. You will lead a small team, support the manager in growing the department, and ensure exceptional service for our business travel clients.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and continuously monitor team performance.
• Manage your own client portfolio while supporting other Business Travel consultants.
• Assist the manager with coaching, training sessions and one‑to‑one development.
• Handle escalated queries and complaints, providing advice on complex itineraries.
• Collaborate with the manager to build strong client relationships.
• Model extraordinary service standards for the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Team Manager, Supervisor or Team Leader within a Business Travel, TMC or corporate travel environment.
• Hands‑on experience creating and managing complex multisector itineraries using a GDS.
• Full knowledge of reservations, changes, reissues and fare optimisation.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team.
