About the role
We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join a growing engineering and manufacturing support business in South Molton. The role involves sourcing and procuring spare parts, consumables and services to keep production running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Manage purchase requisitions for ad‑hoc and inventory‑controlled items.
- Source and procure engineering, maintenance and factory consumable products and services.
- Place purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Expedite deliveries and resolve supply‑chain issues in close collaboration with maintenance and technical teams.
- Work from the office Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.
Required profile
- Background as a Purchasing Assistant, Buyer or similar in a fast‑paced manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Ability to commute to South Molton.

What we offer
- Salary £32,000 – £35,000 per year.
