C# .NET Core MVC ASP.NET Developer (Contract)

About the role

Crystal Ball Ltd is seeking an experienced C#/.NET developer to join its in‑house software team on a six‑month contract. You will work on the core vehicle‑tracking platform, building and enhancing web‑based interfaces and integrating third‑party services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain ASP.NET MVC and .NET Core web applications.
• Implement front‑end features using Bootstrap, CSS and JavaScript (including jQuery).
• Create and consume SOAP and REST web services, including integration with external APIs such as the DVLA.
• Work with SQL Server 2016 for database design, queries and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with the team using Git for source control and follow the full SDLC.
• Build document/content management components for asset data handling.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in .NET web development.
• Strong understanding of application design, full‑stack development and SDLC best practices.
• Proven ability to deliver end‑to‑end solutions, both front‑end and back‑end.
• Experience working in an Agile or similar iterative environment.
