C++ Software Engineer – R&D, Research-Driven Trading

About the role

We are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join our Research & Development team in London. You will work on high‑performance, real‑time trading systems, turning research ideas into production code. The role sits at the intersection of finance, physics, mathematics and computer science.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise low‑level C++ components for trading and HPC environments.
• Collaborate with researchers, traders and infrastructure teams to deliver performance‑critical features.
• Develop clean APIs and integrate them with existing trading infrastructure.
• Participate in hardware/software co‑design and real‑time system testing.

Required profile

• Strong experience in C or C++ development, preferably modern C++.
• Background in high‑performance computing, distributed systems or high‑performance storage.
• Solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Graduates from 2024 or earlier (no 2025/2026 graduates).
