C++ Software Engineer – Trading Team

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic C++ Software Engineer to join our trading team at a leading global quant firm. The role involves working on Linux‑based systems to build and maintain high‑performance infrastructure that supports execution, signal generation, model building and back‑testing.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with traders and technologists to evolve and improve the team’s infrastructure.
• Design, implement and maintain low‑latency execution and signal‑generation components.
• Build and support model‑building and back‑testing pipelines.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability and maintainability in a high‑frequency environment.
• Drive projects from conception through delivery, ensuring robust debugging and extensibility.

Required profile

• Strong C/C++ development experience with both low‑level and high‑level optimization.
• Proven ability to balance performance with simplicity and to engineer maintainable, extensible code.
• Solid experience working on Linux platforms.
• Self‑starter capable of independent work and end‑to‑end project delivery.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering; not a fresh graduate.
• Bonus: prior experience in trading or finance and/or Python programming.
