C2 Bin Lorry Driver – Edinburgh (Temp)

About the role

Join a leading waste‑management team in Edinburgh as a C2 Bin Lorry Driver. This temporary position offers a flexible 4‑day on/4‑day off rota or a Tuesday‑to‑Friday schedule, allowing you to deliver reliable collection services across the city.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate a C2 bin lorry on assigned routes within Edinburgh.
• Collect and transport waste and recyclables to designated disposal or recycling facilities.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Provide courteous service when interacting with the public and site contacts.

Required profile

• Valid HGV C2 (Class 2) licence.
• CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Clean driving record and strong safety awareness.
• Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• HGV C2 licence operation.
