About the role
We are seeking a CACHE Level 3 (or equivalent) Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Islington. The role offers flexible shift options (8:00‑4:00 or 9:00‑5:00) and is intended for a long‑term, temporary placement starting in September.
Key responsibilities
- Support teachers across multiple year groups with classroom activities.
- Assist pupils with learning tasks and provide one‑to‑one help where needed.
- Supervise students during lessons, breaks and other school activities.
- Help prepare teaching resources and maintain a safe learning environment.
Required profile
- CACHE Level 3 qualification or equivalent (or higher).
- Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting.
- Reliable, proactive and confident when working across year groups.
- Available to start in September.
