CAD Designer – SolidWorks

About the role

We are seeking a CAD Designer with strong SolidWorks expertise to join a well‑established manufacturer in Rochdale. You will be responsible for turning bespoke product concepts into detailed 3‑D models and manufacturing drawings, working from initial design through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed SolidWorks 3‑D models for custom projects.
• Produce accurate manufacturing drawings ready for production.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, production and project management teams to ensure designs meet specifications and deadlines.
• Support the design team in developing innovative solutions across multiple industries.

Required profile

• Proven experience using SolidWorks in a mechanical design environment.
• Ability to generate precise manufacturing drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
