CAD Technician – AutoCAD – Orpington

About the role

We are seeking a CAD Technician to join a growing chartered surveying practice in Orpington. You will work on residential and public‑sector projects, producing accurate AutoCAD drawings and supporting surveyors across the Southeast.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 2D and occasional 3D AutoCAD drawings from survey data.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections and design layouts for residential projects.
• Support building surveyors with detailed drawings and documentation.
• Attend site visits to collect measurements and verify information when required.
• Collaborate with the CAD team to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician within the residential sector.
• Ability to create floor plans, elevations, door and window details.
• Full UK driver’s licence and own vehicle for site travel.
• Comfortable commuting to the Orpington office.

Required skills

• AutoCAD (2D and basic 3D).
