About the role
Join a friendly charity café team in the stunning Derwent Valley. As a Cafe / Front of House Assistant you will help create memorable experiences for visitors while working in a beautiful countryside setting.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and serve customers with a smile
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages
- Operate the till and handle transactions
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the café
Required profile
- Friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced environment
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Honest, reliable and a great team player
- Positive can‑do attitude
