Café Manager – Full‑time, £35‑36k, Bishop’s Stortford

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Café Manager to lead a busy café in Bishop’s Stortford. The café operates seven days a week from 08:30 to 16:30, serving breakfast, brunch and cooked meals sourced from local suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead and develop a front‑of‑house team, ensuring excellent customer service.
• Step into the kitchen when required to support food preparation.
• Maintain health, safety, food hygiene and statutory compliance.
• Control costs, manage inventory and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• Full‑time availability (40 hours per week) with weekends worked.
• Passion for hospitality and willingness to learn on the job.
• Eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom.
