Cafe Manager

About the role

The Café Manager will lead the daily operations of the Morrisons café, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers and a high‑standard of food and beverage service. Reporting to the Area Hospitality Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining product availability, and fostering a culture of excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all café activities, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and health & safety compliance.
• Manage team scheduling, attendance, performance reviews and talent development.
• Deliver training to build confidence and capability across the team.
• Respond to customer feedback promptly and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with other store managers to align café performance with overall store targets.
• Plan resources effectively to ensure optimal staffing levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a team in a fast‑paced retail or hospitality environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share best practices.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Adaptable, proactive and capable of challenging processes when needed.
