Cafe Manager

About the role

Join Morrisons' vibrant café team at the Quarrymoor store in Ripon. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead a friendly, high‑energy environment serving breakfast, coffee and cakes to local customers.

Key responsibilities

• Put customers first by empowering the team to deliver attentive service and respond to feedback.
• Lead and support your team through shift rotas, attendance management and talent development.
• Drive performance and standards, guiding colleagues to meet operational and sales targets.
• Keep operations running smoothly by planning resources, managing daily routines and collaborating with other store departments.

Required profile

• Leads with confidence, having experience managing a fast‑paced food or hospitality environment.
• Builds strong, supportive teams through clear communication and calm problem‑solving.
• Listens and adapts, acting on customer and colleague feedback to improve each shift.
• Keeps a firm grip on basics such as food safety, waste control and stock availability.
• Steps up as Manager in Charge when needed, supporting the wider store.
