Calibration Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Calibration Engineer to join our Bredbury site, delivering high‑quality calibration services for a range of measuring instruments in line with ISO‑9001 and UKAS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Calibrate and repair diverse measuring instrumentation according to Company Procedures, UKAS regulations and recognised specifications.
• Maintain accurate, traceable records of work, data and results using the EMS management system.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and UKAS accreditation requirements.

Required profile

• Technical qualification such as HND, HNC, NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or higher.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and a solid understanding of calibration practices and theory.

Required skills

• Calibration of measuring instrumentation.
• Knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
