Calibration & Repair Technician – Pressure Equipment

About the role

You will calibrate and, where appropriate, repair pressure‑indicating equipment to meet or exceed customer expectations and quality standards. The role involves working both on‑site at customer locations and within our own facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Complete calibration of allocated equipment within agreed parameters and record all essential data.
• Repair equipment as defined by the team leader or supervisor.
• Calibrate and repair equipment in associated departments when required.
• Coordinate with the team leader/supervisor to expedite work and cooperate with team members.
• Attend technical training sessions as trainee or trainer.
• Maintain and calibrate company‑owned test equipment in line with the quality policy.
• Visit customer sites to perform calibration/repair activities.
• Read and understand QMS documentation, health and safety regulations, and keep the work area tidy.
• Participate in internal or external meetings and undertake additional duties as directed.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of deadweight testers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with pressure‑indicating equipment such as gauges, transducers and calibration tools.
