About the role
This internal position provides front‑line reception and administrative support to the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) teams, including the CAMHS Clinical Information Hub. The role is designed for current staff of the health board and offers an opportunity to contribute to a vital mental health service.
Key responsibilities
- Process referrals using the WCCIS system and ensure accurate data entry.
- Book and manage appointments for multi‑disciplinary CAMHS teams.
- Handle general enquiries from families, professionals and colleagues, providing appropriate sign‑posting.
- Maintain reception areas, answer phones and support day‑to‑day administrative tasks.
- Assist with any additional administrative duties as required by the service.
Required profile
- Current employee of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to delivering a welcoming, inclusive service for all service users.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the WCCIS (Welsh Clinical Care Information System) platform.
