Candidate Resourcer – Education Recruitment

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Candidate Resourcer to join our education recruitment team in Poulton‑le‑Fylde. The role supports schools across Lancashire and Cumbria by sourcing teachers and support staff.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively source teachers and support staff using job boards, CV databases, social media and networking.
• Conduct high‑volume telephone outreach to candidates each day.
• Interview and assess candidates for suitability.
• Write and manage engaging job advertisements.
• Register candidates and support compliance processes.
• Format CVs and prepare professional candidate profiles for client submissions.
• Maintain accurate records in the recruitment CRM.
• Build talent pools for current and future vacancies.
• Collaborate closely with Recruitment Consultants to fill vacancies quickly and effectively.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recruitment, resourcing or talent acquisition, preferably within an agency environment.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence speaking to a wide range of candidates.
• Ability to build rapport and develop lasting relationships.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to prioritise multiple tasks and manage a busy workload.
• Initiative to work independently and proactively source quality candidates.
• Positive, resilient and professional attitude.

• Competitive salary at National Living Wage (pro‑rated) plus uncapped performance‑related commission.
• Realistic OTE of £30,000–£35,000 per annum (full‑time equivalent).
