About the role

Join Avery Healthcare’s award‑winning team at Camberley Woods Care Home in Surrey as a Care Assistant – Bank. You will provide high‑quality personal care to residents, supporting their independence, dignity and wellbeing on a flexible, on‑site basis.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and toileting while respecting their privacy.
• Monitor clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection, escalating concerns promptly.
• Maintain courteous and respectful interactions with residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Follow safe working practices and adhere to care home policies.

Required profile

• Demonstrates caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable values.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Initiative, adaptability and willingness to cover short‑notice shifts.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently as part of a team.
