Care Assistant - Bank

About the role
Join Avery Healthcare Group as a Care Assistant on a bank (flexible) basis at Camberley Woods Care Home. You will provide compassionate personal care to elderly residents, helping them maintain independence, dignity and a high quality of life each day.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of personal care to residents, supporting independence, dignity and respect.
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
- Monitor residents for clinical risks (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and report concerns promptly.
- Interact courteously with residents, families and visitors, maintaining a respectful environment.
- Follow safe working practices and adhere to care home policies.
Required profile
- Demonstrates caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable values.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative, flexibility and ability to adapt to short‑notice schedule changes.
- Willingness to learn through a thorough induction and training programme.
