About the role
As a Care Assistant in a Barchester care home you will help residents enjoy each day by delivering high‑quality personal care and companionship. You will support daily living activities, follow individual care plans and ensure each resident receives dedicated one‑to‑one time. The role offers a varied and rewarding environment where your compassion makes a real difference.
Key responsibilities
- Assist residents with eating, drinking and personal hygiene according to care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, sharing moments and memories.
- Ensure each resident receives regular one‑to‑one interaction.
- Support daily living activities and promote independence.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
Required profile
- Previous experience caring for older people.
- Can‑do attitude and strong communication skills.
- Empathy, warmth and a compassionate approach.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
