Care Assistant – Day & Night (Maternity Cover)

About the role
Join Bosworth Care Home in Weymouth as a Care Assistant, providing essential support to residents on a day or night shift. This maternity‑cover position offers a rewarding environment where you help residents live safely, comfortably and with dignity.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred personal care such as bathing, dressing and oral hygiene while encouraging independence.
- Contribute to care planning and reviews to ensure support plans meet individual needs.
- Administer medication safely in line with established procedures.
- Participate in social activities, outings and companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
- Support colleagues through shadowing, teamwork and maintaining smooth home operations.
Required profile
- Minimum 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK (no skilled or student visas accepted).
- Caring, positive and reliable attitude.
- Previous care experience preferred, especially for night shifts, with fully funded training provided.
